I’m Linda Downey, Founder of Linda Downey Coaching, a transformational coaching practice rooted in functional health. My work is dedicated to helping women reclaim calm, balance, and joy by addressing the root causes of stress, overwhelm, and self-sabotaging patterns that often lead to burnout and chronic health challenges.

With over 37 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, I’ve seen firsthand that chronic stress is one of the most significant - and often overlooked - contributors to long-term health struggles and emotional exhaustion. Yet it’s also one of the hardest things to change because of the deeply ingrained ways we think, perceive, and respond to life.

Through an integrative approach that blends neuroscience, transformational psychology, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and energy-based healing, I help women rewire the patterns that keep them stuck, release stored emotional stress from past experiences, and restore their nervous system to a healthy, calm state.

I’m a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN), HeartMath Practitioner, Whole Life Coach, and Transformational Coach, and I bring these tools together in my signature approach and program, Return to You.

In your free Clarity Call, we map where you are, what you desire, and how your nervous system has been trying to protect you. You’ll leave with at least one insight you can use immediately - whether or not we work together.

Pattern‑breaking sessions

Across our sessions (typically weekly or bi‑weekly), we identify the core beliefs and habits that keep you looping, and gently replace them with aligned thoughts, actions and boundaries you can actually maintain.

If you’re curious but nervous, you’re not alone. Here are honest answers to the most common questions.

I’ve tried therapy and coaching before. How is this different?

Many of my clients have done talk therapy or mindset work and still feel stuck. Together we focus on both your thoughts AND your nervous system. Instead of just analyzing your patterns, we notice how they live in your body, then use practical tools to create safety and choice in the moment. That’s where lasting change happens.

What if I don’t know exactly what I want yet?

You don’t need a clear vision to begin. In fact, many women come to me precisely because they feel numb, foggy or disconnected from their desires. Part of our work is helping you hear your own voice again so you can make honest decisions about your relationships, work, health and day‑to‑day life.

How often do we meet and for how long?

Most clients meet with me weekly or every other week for 60 minutes via Zoom. We’ll decide together what rhythm supports your nervous system and your schedule during your free Clarity Call. Many women work with me for 3–6 months; some choose to continue for deeper integration.

What if I’m worried about investing in myself?

It’s common for women - especially in midlife - to feel guilty spending time or money on themselves. We’ll talk about that honestly. I’ll never pressure you. My role is to help you make a grounded decision that honors your values, responsibilities and desires.
